According to Health Ministry sources, the government plans to celebrate the milestone of one billion or 100 crore vaccination doses by hooting over announcement speakers and hoisting the tricolor at the Red Fort.

The national flag will be flown at the North and South Blocks in the national capital, and announcements will be made at all railway stations, trains, planes, and ships around the country, they stated. The milestone will be reached in the coming days, with approximately 75% of those eligible having already received one shot and around 30% having received two shots.
