Abdul Rashid Shora, father of former JNU student leader Shehla Rashid, has made serious allegations against his daughter by writing a letter to the Jammu and Kashmir DGP. Abdul Rashid has claimed in the letter that he is in danger of life from his daughter.
Abdul Rashid Shora, in a letter to the Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, accused his daughter that Shehla Rashid was involved in anti-national activities.
A 3-page letter addressed to DGP has been written in English. In which Abdul Rashid called his daughter Shehla as anti-national and said that he is involved in anti-national activities.
On the other hand, Shehla has reacted to the father’s letter and described it as ‘baseless, disgusting’. Shehla issued a statement saying that this does not happen in the family, as my father has done. They have made baseless allegations against me as well as my mother and sister.
Shehla said in a tweet that many of you must have seen the video of my father, in which he is making accusations against me and my mother and sister. Simply put, he is a wife-beater and an abusive, nefarious man. We have finally decided to take action against him and this stunt is his reaction.
There has also been a response from the police in this case. Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said on the claim of Shehla’s father that he has sent the letter of Abdul Rashid Shora to the SSP of Srinagar for verification.
