Amidst the struggles and tireless working of the doctors and medical fraternity in the tough times of massive spread of coronavirus pandamic across the nation. The doctors in Uttar Pradesh have an extra load of stress and concern of the security and well being their families and dear ones.

One such disturbing case has been reported in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, where the family of Dr Ram A Gwal has been attacked by the audacious neighbors of the doctors native residence over a petty issue. Whereas, Dr. Gwal is serving at LLRM Medical College in Meerut as a resident doctor, unable to reach out to the family because of the line of duty allocated to him for Covid-19.

It is reported that the doctor’s mother has got injured along with other members of the family. And is under treatment at a local hospital.

The Badaun police has not logged an FIR and is said to be having a lenient approach towards the culprits. Such incidents not only disturbs an individual but to the whole fraternity of medical professionals – doctors, paramedics staff and other related workers, that contrary to their unfathomable contributions and services in these tough time of need they are been harassed in such way.

Marking a question on the society and administration which is failing to prevent such acts. Contradicting the claims of the Central and State governments to prevent the basic rights of the real ‘corona warriors’.
