Actually, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh appealed to the opposition members to take part in the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s address and said in the House that it is not the responsibility of one party, but the responsibility of all, to maintain the tradition of vibrant democracy.
The Deputy Leader of the House, Rajnath Singh, gave a statement after the necessary papers were laid on the floor at five in the evening. Earlier, due to uproar by members of opposition parties, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 10 pm, about 10 minutes after the commencement of Monday.Rajnath said, “It is not the responsibility of one party, but the responsibility of all, to maintain a vibrant tradition in a healthy democracy. Everyone also wants to maintain this healthy democratic tradition. ‘

He said that posts like President, Vice President… there are no people, they are institutions. It is the responsibility of all of us to maintain the dignity of these institutions. The Deputy Leader of the Lok Sabha said that the motion of thanks was discussed in the Rajya Sabha on the President’s address, the Prime Minister responded and the Upper House expressed his gratitude to the President.

Rajnath Singh urged the leaders of all parties in the Lok Sabha to initiate discussion on the vote of thanks brought on the President’s address in accordance with healthy democratic traditions and express gratitude to the President. He said, “I humbly request all the members of the parties to fold hands and not to break this tradition.” The vote of thanks should be discussed on the President’s address. ‘

Singh said that during the discussion on the subject on which you want to speak, speak freely. Want to speak on agricultural laws, speak on that too but keep the tradition and pass a vote of thanks unanimously.
