COVID Updates: India death toll at 723; Maharashtra records 6817 cases, 310 deaths

The total coronavirus cases in India has soared up to 23,452. With 17,915 active coronavirus cases and 4,813 patients have been cured/discharged. And 723 people have died due to the virus in India, while one patient has been migrated. 

The Union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Thursday, said that India’s response to the disease has been proactive, pre-emptive and graded in handling situation arising out of COVID-19 outbreak.

He said that “India was first to respond to COVID -19 and stands on a better footing than the rest of the world because of the valuable and sincere services of our Corona warriors.”
