Chakka jam ends, farmers take to the streets from Kashmir to Telangana

The protests of farmers against agricultural laws have been going on for more than two months. To give a further edge to their agitation, farmers organizations had called for a nationwide chakka jam on Saturday. This chakka jam, which lasted for three hours, saw the effect from Delhi to Kashmir. Where protesters sat on the streets. This caused a lot of trouble for the common people. At the same time, farmers provided water and food to the people trapped in traffic in Haryana. On the other hand, Congress’s Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Digvijay Singh and KC Venugopal supported the farmers’ blockade jam. On the other hand, to deal with any untoward situation, Delhi Police had made elaborate security arrangements this time. 50 thousand security forces were deployed in Delhi-NCR. The borders were being monitored through drones. A large number of Delhi Police personnel including Rapid Action Force were deployed at Ghazipur border. Apart from this, Water Cannon, Bomb and Dog Squad were put on standby mode. The Delhi Police had a keen eye on social media to stop the rumors from spreading.Rakesh Tikait of the Bharatiya Kisan Union said, ‘We have given the government till October 2 to repeal the laws. After this we will do further planning. We will not discuss it with the government under pressure.
