Chahal was not in the playing eleven … but became the hero of Team India’s victory

Discussions in the first T20 match against Australia gained momentum when Yuzvendra Chahal, a leg-spinner who was included in the playing eleven as a connection substitute in place of Ravindra Jadeja, proved to be the hero of Team India’s victory.  Please tell that in this match, Yuzvendra Chahal was not included in the playing eleven in the beginning.  Chahal was included as a connection institution of Ravindra Jadeja during India’s bowling.

 Jadeja got hurt by Mitchell Starc’s bouncer in the last over of the Indian innings.  He was seen groaning painfully while running between the wickets.  The BCCI tweeted, “Ravindra Jadeja gets the ball at the helmet in the last over of the first innings in the first T20 match.  Yuzvendra Chahal landed on the field during India’s fielding.  BCCI’s medical team is monitoring Jadeja’s condition.

 Australian head coach Justin Langer was seen talking to match referee David Boon in a gesture, but it was not known if he was talking about the removal of Chahal.  Yuzvendra Chahal took 3 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs in this match.
 Yuzvendra Chahal took wickets of Aaron Finch (35), Steve Smith (12) and Matthew Wade (7).  Chahal played a big role in helping India win.  KL Rahul scored a half-century in T20 cricket while maintaining a brilliant form, but Jadeja’s 44-ball knock of 23 proved to be a ‘troublesome’ for India, who took India to 161 runs for 7 wickets.
