Cabinet reshuffle expected this week, PM Modi’s crucial meeting likely today

The honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to conduct a crucial meeting today at his residence. According to Live Hindustan, the cabinet rejig is expected to take place later this week.

Sources said that the meeting will take place at 5 PM. Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, Bharatiya Janta Party chief Jagat Prakash Nadda and many other ministers are expected to attend the meeting. At least 18 new ministers are expected to be inducted in the Union Cabinet. . The expansion will be done keeping in view the upcoming state elections next year. The expansion expected to take place after July 7.

PTI report suggests that This comes a day after PM Modi held a meeting with Shah and BJP general secretary (organisation) B L Santhosh. Monday’s marathon meeting was called to give final touches to the details of a likely expansion of the Union Cabinet.

PM Modi was expected to expand the cabinet earlier, but the exercise was postponed due to Covid-19.
