The band BTS has launched their new song on YouTube and it has already broken records. It recorded the fastest 10- million views in just 13 minutes after the premiere. It broke its own record of the song ‘Dynamite’ that managed to do the same in just 21 minutes. The song is titled ‘Butter’ and has become the fastest video in the history of YouTube to cross 10 million views. The video crossed 53 million views in the first seven hours of the premiere, and 5.4 million YouTube users liked it. Their earlier song ‘Dynamite’ was their first song which was premiered entirely in English. It was the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube with over 101.1 million views
A content distribution and management platform, Popbase released the numbers, however YouTube will release the numbers in a few days. The K-pop band released the official teaser of the song on Tuesday which was also a hit. It received 1 million likes within 45 minutes of the teaser launch. After popbase released the numbers, fans shared their excitement through sharing various tweets.
