The agitation of farmers against agricultural laws continues. Meanwhile, there is a continuous charge from the Bharatiya Janata Party that efforts are being made to provoke the farmers. Now Bharatiya Janata Party leader Arun Singh says that not even one percent farmers are involved in the entire movement.
BJP general secretary Arun Singh said that the farmers are naive, but they have been broken into pieces by gangs which need to be talked about. BJP leader Arun Singh said this in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Arun Singh has arrived to attend the party meeting held in Jaipur.
Let us tell you that there are constant allegations from the BJP that some political parties and left organizations have hijacked the farmers’ movement and are being instigated to commit violence.
Let me tell you that in the past, in the middle of the farmers’ movement, on one stage there was a picture of some activists, including Sharjeel Imam, Omar Khalid, who are currently in jail. His release was demanded in the movement, after which the BJP started raising questions on the peasant movement.
Recently, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had alleged that this is a sinister design to takeover the movement. There is ample evidence that piecemeal gangs are trying to takeover the agenda. He also said that his pictures are being displayed to take advantage of the opposition of farmers’ organizations. Perhaps due to the presence of such elements, negotiations with the government are not being successful.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had also questioned these posters and said that there can be any objection or opposition to MSP-Mandi, but as posters are appearing they are not part of any movement. In such a situation, farmers should not give such people a place on the platform.
