A new record was set when the biggest-ever consignment of 36,000 oxygen concentrators landed in New Delhi on Sunday afternoon from China amidst the Covid-19 crisis in India. The consignment weighed approximately 100 tonnes and has arrived from Hangzhou Airport in China in a Boeing 747-400 wide-body aircraft.
National Sales Head at Bollore Logistics India, Jaspreet Singh said that the charter landed at the Delhi airport at 3.18 pm on Sunday (May 16).
As India battles the devastating second wave of the covid pandemic and the demand for medical supplies including oxygen concentrators increases, this huge consignment will fulfill the needs and demands in Delhi NCR as wel as other badly affected areas in North India. This consignment is among one of the many charters that has been scheduled in the upcoming weeks.
