Anand Singh Bisht, the father of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, dies in AIIMS

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s father Anand Singh Bisht has passed away. He was ill for a long time. He was admitted for treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. The UP government has confirmed the death of CM’s father Anand Singh Bisht. UP’s Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Avnish Awasthi said, “Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s father has died at 10.44 am this morning. We offer our deepest condolences on his demise.

Anand Singh Bisht had a liver and kidney problem for a long time. His dialysis was also done by doctors. He was first admitted to the Himalayan Hospital in Jolly Grant after his health deteriorated in Pauri. After the condition did not improve, he was taken to Delhi by air ambulance. UP CM’s father was a forest ranger in Uttarakhand. He retired in 1991. After retirement, he started coming to his village.
