On Tuesday, a special Air India flight will transport 78 individuals from Tajikistan’s Dushanbe to New Delhi, including 25 Indian nationals. They had been flown on an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft from Taliban-controlled Kabul to Dushanbe the day before.
More Indian nationals, as well as dozens of Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, are likely to be evacuated from Kabul. In response to the deteriorating circumstances in war-torn Afghanistan, Indian officials evacuated 75 Sikhs on Monday. On an IAF plane, three copies of the Guru Granth Sahib, as well as 75 persons, including 46 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, would be evacuated from Afghanistan.
