West Bengal: Actor Yash Dasgupta joins BJP

The Khemabandi is in full swing before the assembly elections in West Bengal. Meanwhile actor Yash Dasgupta has joined BJP. BJP’s Bengal in-charge and national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya got him party membership. Raj Mukherjee, Ashok Bhadra, Meenakshi Ghosh, Mallika Bandyopadhyay, Papia Adhikari, Soumili Ghosh Vishwas and Trimala Bhattacharya were also present during this period.
Yash Dasgupta is said to be close to TMC MP Nusrat Jahan. Yash, 35, is a prominent face of the Bengali film industry.
After joining the party, Yash said that the BJP gives the youth a chance at all levels. He said that we will work for the betterment of future state.
Before that, many TMC leaders have also left the party. These include former Trinamool Congress leaders Rajiv Banerjee, Vaishali Dalmia, Prabir Ghoshal, Ratin Chakraborty and Rudranil Ghosh, Subhendu Adhikari, Deepak Haldar.
Let us know that in 2021, elections to 294 seats are going to be held in Bengal. The Election Commission has started preparations for this. There is a direct contest between BJP and TMC in this election battle. While the BJP is claiming to win 200 seats, the Trinamool is also beating.
