Lucknow seems in lights, many buildings including Vidhan Bhavan lit on the eve of Republic Day

Preparations have been seen for the Republic celebrations in Tehzib’s city Lucknow.  On the eve of Republic Day, tricolor lights were seen on government and non-government buildings including Raj Bhavan, Vidhan Bhavan, Lok Bhavan, Bapu Bhawan, North Eastern Railway and Income Tax Office.  The markets also looked bright on republic day.
 Republic Day was elebrated with pomp across the country on Tuesday.  To celebrate this national festival, everyone was prepared in their own way.  Due to the Corona transition in schools and colleges, preparations was being made to conduct small programs at the Republic Day celebrations.

 Tricolor and other items continued to be sold in the markets.  The tricolor decorated at the shops was giving the message of the arrival of Republic Day.  The tricolor was seen everywhere in the markets.  Apart from the national flag in different sizes, different types of brooch, cap, ribbon, t-shirt, hand band etc. were seen in the market.  Along with this, gift items also include tricolor watch, stand tricolor etc.


On the eve of Republic Day as part of Mission Shakti, 72 women joined the Tricolor Yatra carrying the tricolor in their hands on the 72nd Republic Day.  Mahanta Devya Giri led the journey from Mankameshwar Upvan Ghat with a call for the honor of women power.  The Tricolor Yatra was organized on behalf of the Sisters of Man Mandeshwar Self Help Group Mahila Mandal.  The self-employed tricolor journey was welcomed everywhere.  All 72 women dressed in tricolor attired.  In the yatra, Anamika appeared as Bharat Mata and in the evening the Mankameshwara temple was decorated with a tricolor.  The women and common people of the group, including Upma Pandey, Vaidehi, Ruby, Trupta Sharma, participated in the yatra.  On the eve of Republic Day, Mahakal was decorated with a tricolor at the Mahakal temple in Rajendra Nagar.
