The Rajasthan government has stated that raising cows or buffalos at houses in the state’s metropolitan regions would henceforth need an annual license and a 100 square yard. The state government also stated that if the animals are detected wandering, the owners would be fined Rs.10,000. The new regulation will be implemented by the state government in all regions governed by municipal corporations and councils.
Only a cow and a calf will be permitted in a residence without a license from now on, and livestock should be kept in a separate location.
