The BJP launched a stinging attack on the Congress on Thursday, accusing the opposition party of spinning a web like a spider against Hindus after its leader Salman Khurshid reportedly compared Hindutva to the jihadist Islam of terrorist groups like as ISIS and Boko Haram in his latest book.
Meanwhile, a lawyer in Delhi has submitted a complaint with the Delhi Police, requesting that an FIR be launched against Khurshid in the case. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia claimed Khurshid’s book on Ayodhya harms people’s religious sensibilities during a press briefing at the party’s headquarters here.
