Sushant Singh Rajput’s close associate Siddharth Pithani has been granted bail by the court for his marriage. His lawyer Tareq Sayyed when contacted said, “He has been granted interim bail on humantarian grounds and will have surrender back on July 2”.
Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Sameer Wankhede said that Pithani has been given relief for 10 days fo his marriage and will have to surrender on July 2. He has not been granted bail.
Pithani was traced by the NCB through his social media post and arrested from Hyderabad on May 28 for his alleged links in the Sushant Singh Rajput drug case. He was the first person to find the actor hanging in his bedroom on June 14 last year. He was the one who had lowered his body even before the famly members arrived at the actor’s residence. Sushant’s friend Rhea, his brother Showik, and other staff members including Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Sawant were arrested by the NCB. The other housemates Keshav and Neeraj, who were recently questioned by the NCB, have hinted at Pithani’s role in the drug case.
