Zinedine Zidane, football legend and current manager of Real Madrid has decided to step down from his post although his contract was valid till June 2022.
Zidane had earlier left the club in 2018 after leading Madrid to one of its most successful runs with three consecutive Champions League titles and an unbeaten streak of 40 matches.
The team won nine championships, including two Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, one Spanish league, and one Spanish Super Cup under Zidane’s charge.
In his second term, the team secured the league title once and won a Spanish Super Cup.
The first time, he quit after leading the team to its third straight Champions League title, saying it was time for a change and that he didn’t see it clearly that the club would keep winning with him in charge.
Recently, he said that he believed the team would do well without him.
