According to the British military, seven Afghan civilians were killed in the pandemonium surrounding the Taliban’s control of the country near Kabul’s international airport.

In a military transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force, India evacuated 168 individuals, including 107 Indians, from Kabul on Sunday, amid deteriorating security in the Afghan capital city following the Taliban’s takeover a week ago. This is in addition to a group of 87 Indians who arrived in Delhi from Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s capital, and a party of 135 Indians who arrived from Doha, Qatar. On Saturday, both groups were evacuated from Kabul airport.

Earlier on Saturday, the Taliban prevented at least 72 Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, including two Members of Parliament from the minority community, from boarding an IAF plane and were returned from Kabul airport.
