48 cases of the new Delta Plus variant of Covid-19 disease has identified in India. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)’s director-general Balram Bhargava said, “More importantly, they have been very localised. This virus has also been isolated and cultured now”
As the official report suggests, seven cases of the new Delta Plus variant of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Madhya Pradesh. Among them, two are reportedly died. Doctors of Madhya Pradesh has informed that they have not received any vaccination. Three patients, who received single or double doses of vaccine before are now recovered and under home isolation without any complications. Doctors also informed that two others who didn’t receive any vaccination have also managed to cure the infection. Among them, there was 22 years old woman and two toddlers.
However, workers and residents in Australia, Sydney was ordered to stay home for a week. Authorities locked down several areas of Australia’s largest city to contain an outbreak of the highly contagious Delta variant of Covid-19.
