A series of Western Disturbances will continue to affect the Western Himalayas until the first week of March. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain and snow in the hill areas of Jammu and Kashmir since Monday. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snow at some places in Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh. Not only this, rain or snowfall can be seen in one or two places in Himachal Pradesh. Due to western disturbances, the weather is expected to remain humid from 22 February. Due to this, light to moderate rain or snow is expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. According to the Meteorological Department, on 21 and 22 February, rain and snowfall may occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, while some areas of Uttarakhand on 22, 23 and 26 February. Due to this western disturbance, there is a possibility of hailstorm in various areas with thunder glow and strong wind. According to Skymet Weather, the private agency that released the weather forecast, the mountains will receive good snowfall in the first week of March due to strong western disturbances. During this time the wind direction will also be northwest. Then the temperature will fall and many days of winter will be realized. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi was one degree below normal at 10.1 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded three degrees above normal at 28 degrees Celsius.A cyclonic circulation also persists over eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh. Also, a trough is active in the Arabian Sea from the coastal parts of Kerala to Gujarat. Due to this, rain activities can be seen in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. This change in weather can be seen in the next three days. The Meteorological Department has said in its forecast that Chamoli district of Uttarakhand may see a change in the weather from 22 February. On 22, 23 and 24 February, the sky will be cloudy and light rain or snowfall activities may occur.
