In response, the railway said that the number of trains has been increasing continuously after the lockdown and 65 percent of the trains are currently running on track compared to normal operations. Also, in January 2021, more trains have been started in 250 and in the coming days more trains will be started.By the way, Holi festival is falling on 29th March. Railways is continuously increasing the number of passenger trains keeping in mind the travel of the people. Also, the operation period of many special trains has been extended till April. Meanwhile some reports have also claimed that from a certain date of April all passenger trains will start operating at full capacity, but PIB along with Railways has also denied such reports. The railway has appealed to the people and media institutions to refrain from guessing the general operations of trains. No date has been set for this yet.
