The West Bengal administration renewed the Covid-19 limitations in the state till July 30 with additional exemptions on Wednesday. Bengal extended existing coronavirus restrictions till 15 July on June 28 in order to halt the transmission of the deadly second wave of the lethal virus.
As part of the current changes, banks throughout the state will now be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The subway rail services will be permitted to run at 50% capacity five days a week.
Intrastate buses will now be able to operate at 50% capacity with immunised drivers. All stores and marketplaces will be open during normal business hours.
