Last year, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan made her Telugu debut with NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. The actress will now be stepping into Kollywood with director H Vinoth’s Nerkonda Paarvai, which is produced by Boney Kapoor.

In Nerkonda Paarvai, Vidya Balan will be sharing screen space with Ajith. For the uninitiated, the film is a Tamil remake of Hindi blockbuster film, Pink. As the team is shooting for the film in Hyderabad, Vidya Balan seems to have been bowled over by Ajith’s simplicity.

Reportedly, Ajith waited for Vidya Balan to complete her work for the day and then left the venue after sending her off to her hotel. A source told DNA that Vidya was taken aback by Ajith’s magnanimity.

The source said, “Instead of driving away, the Vivegam actor waited till his co-actor finished her scene. Later, he walked her to her car and bid her goodbye for the evening. Only after Vidya’s car had left, did Ajith get into his and head home.”

Nerkonda Paarvai is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on August 10. The last leg of shooting is underway and is expected to be wrapped up in the coming weeks.

Producer Boney Kapoor is all praises for Ajith and lauded his performance after seeing the rushes of Nerkonda Paarvai. The makers have made considerable changes to the script to suit the sensibilities of the Tamil audience.

After wrapping up Nerkonda Paarvai, producer Boney Kapoor will join hands with Ajith and director H Vinoth once again for a racing-based script, which will be the actor’s 60th film.
