A van fell into a ravine in Bharuch district of the Gujarat state. Four women and a man found dead on the spot and 10 were injured

Van falls into ravine in Gujarat, 5 dead and 10 injured

A van fell into the ravine after it was hit by a truck in the Bharuch district on Wednesday. The vehicle was carrying 15 factory workers and was heading towards Rajpipla town from Netrang, confirmed an official. The van was hit by a speeding truck from behind which led to the sudden death of four women and one man. Sub-inspector BK Pachani of Netrani police station said that:

A group of factory workers had hired the van to return home from their shift. At Vandarveli village a speeding truck hit the van from behind and drove off. The impact caused the van to fall into ravine.

The dead have been identified as Chandrika Vasava (23), Pravina Vasava (18), Sonika Vasava (22), Tiras Vasava (22) and Jyotsna Vasava (18). They were all from Bharuch district.
