On Tuesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the National Capital. Thackeray led a trip with Ajit Pawar, Deputy Head of Government, and Ashok Chavan, Congress politician. The Maharashtra politicians met with PM Modi to address a variety of state concerns, including Maratha and OBC quotas, GST reimbursement, caste-based survey, and classical language status for Marathi.
Thackeray told the journalists after the meeting at the Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi, “We had a pleasant conversation without getting into politics. We talked about a variety of problems with the Prime Minister. He has informed us that he will investigate them. We spoke about transferring the Kanjur Marg property for the Metro car shed.”
