On Thursday, Two people were shot dead in a firing incident that was reported in north Delhi.

The firing by unidentified persons was reported in the Bara Hindu Rao area at around 9:21 pm. 

According to police,the man who was the target escaped from the area and two pedestrians were caught in the firing and died on the spot. 

According to the eyewitnesses, seven to eight attackers had come to the locality with a plan to kill someone else. However, they misfired their shots at the crowd. 

Two civilians were killed at the spot. The assailants had opened 20 to 25 rounds of firing infomed the locals. They fled the spot thereafter and are on the run as of now. 

The police officials have been investigating the incident at the site.
