The former Telangana minister Etela Rajender who had been set down from the state cabinet by Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao over alleged land grabbing charge joined the BJP on Monday.
Rajender left TRS along with six other party members in presence of Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, G Kishen Reddy, and party general secretaries Dushyant Gautam and Tarun Chugh. He resigned from his assembly constituency of Huzurabad last week. A four-time MLA, he also said the charges against him were false and he was removed from his position without being offered a chance to give an explanation.
However, on the other hand, the BJP’s Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that Bhartiya Janta Party is all set to form the government in Telangana after the next assembly election.
