The total number of coronavirus cases in India have crossed 59,000-mark and death toll due to the virus is nearing 2000. In India, there are 39,834 coronavirus active cases and 17,846 COVID-19 positive patients have been cured or discharged. 1981 people died due to the highly contagious virus and one has been migrated, as per the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry. In the last 24 hours India has recorded 3,320 more coronavirus positive cases and 95 COVID-19 related deaths.
714 cops are infected in Maharashtra
714 police personnel have come out tested positive for COVID19 in the state, out of which 648 are active cases, 61 recovered & 5 deaths. There have been 194 incidents of assault on police personnel during the lockdown period and 689 accused have been arrested for the same, as per the Maharashtra Police.
