The WTC final between India and New Zealand has been severely hampered by heavy weather in Southampton, as there will be no play in the first session on Day 1. The coin toss has also been postponed owing to the persistent drizzle.

Both Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson will compete for their first ICC title as leaders. However, the weather in Southampton is preventing the game from starting. The prediction, which does not appear to be positive, is subject to alter at the drop of a hat because the weather in England may be unexpected at times.

The super sopper is on as the ground crew leaves no stone in getting the field prepared. The first meeting has been canceled. The toss is anticipated to take place after midday, but only if the weather allows.
