Students of the Tezpur University in Assam have designed an Iot-Based ventilator which will help the patients to breathe easily and also overcome the shortage of oxygen cylinders.

The students of the Tezpur University have designed an IoT-based ventilator for the covid patients. This will help to overcome the shortage of the life saving instruments like ventilators and oxygen cylinders. The instrument hlps the patients to breathe easily which will act as a beneficiary instrument in the hospitals.

An official said on Thursday that to address the prevailing situation of the country, the Electrical Engineering department of the varsity has taken an initiative to design the Internet of Things enabled portable ventilator.

A group of students of the university are working on the same under the guidance of a former guest faculty member, Chiranjit Adhikary and Firdaussa Ahmad, a guest faculty member and the project is supervised by professor Soumik Roy who is the head of the department.
