Tata Acquires Stake in Med Company, 1MG, After BigBasket

On Thursday, Tata Digital, a joint venture of the Tata Group, stated it will purchase 1MG, the latest of the investments made by the Tata Group in a plan to develop a super-application, with a majority interest. Weeks after BigBasket was purchased, and CureFit has revealed their investment.

“Investing in 1MG will boost Tata’s capacity to deliver outstanding customer experience and good health services through a technological-led platform in the field of e-pharmacy and e-diagnostics,” said Pratik Pal, CEO Tata Digital.
