Prabhas received worldwide recognition when SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali went on to become a blockbuster hit. Three years later, Prabhas will have a release this year with director Sujeeth’s Saaho. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor will be making her South debut with this spy-thriller.
The film, produced by UV Creations, has been in the making for nearly three years. Saaho is currently in the last leg of shooting and there is a romantic number left to be shot. Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor will jet off to Austria to shoot for a romantic number in the final schedule.
A source told an entertainment portal, “Prabhas and Shraddha will fly off to Austria next week. They are shooting a romantic track there, along with a few scenes as well.” Earlier, the team shot for a peppy number on a set erected in Hyderabad.
It is rumoured that Shraddha Kapoor does not have a huge role to play in Saaho. However, the source says otherwise. “Shraddha has a very important character in the film. In fact, she has several action scenes along with Prabhas. It’s not a small appearance as is being speculated,” the source added.
The teaser of the much-anticipated movie will be released on June 13 on social media and will be screened in theatres from June 14 onwards. Saaho is gearing up for a grand release on August 15, 2019, across the world.
Saaho is said to be produced on a lavish budget of Rs 250 to Rs 300 crore. The film has an ensemble cast including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi and Chunky Pandey.
