The residents of Mumbai Kandivali-located hiranandani housing society have alleged that they were given duplicate vaccines in a housing society vaccination drive. The residents have accused that around 390 of its residents who took the shot were given a duplicate vaccine.
The residents are claiming that the way the drive was conducted appeared fishy as their details were not taken properly, the entries related to their Aadhar card etc were made manually instead of making these entries online, they were not given any invoice of the vaccination and none of those who took the jab got any side effect whatsoever which other people of the this age slab(18-44yrs) are having.
Vaccination certificates were given to them after some days and those vaccination certificates were also from different hospitals from different dates.
As per Addit CP, North Zone, Mumbai, “We are conducting a primary inquiry in the case. Once that inquiry will be concluded, then only we will take any action, as in file an FIR or whatever is required as per the law.”
