Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma is quite active on social media and often tweet and comment on various social issues and controversial topics via his Twitter. Yesterday, he took to his Twitter account to praise actor Manoj Bajpayee for his spellbinding performance in Family Man 2.
The director wrote, “The Family Man 2 gives rise to a realistic James Bond franchise which can go on forever. Mixing family drama/action/entertainment is complex and can only be pulled off by an incredible actor like @bajpayeemanoj as he treads the very fine line between realistic and dramatic.” The actor responded by retweeting the tweet and captioned, “Now That’s my award !!! Thank you, Ramu.”
The Family Man 2 released on June 4 on Amazon Prime in which Manoj plays the role of Srikant Tiwari. He was an undercover agent who needs to find the perfect balance between his high-risk, low-paying government job and his duties as a middle-class family man. The series also features actors like Sharib Hashmi and Samantha Akkineni in lead roles.
