Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday did a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the uncontrolled agitation of farmers and the declining economy of the country, saying that he should take steps to deal with the situation, leaving arrogance and dictatorial attitude. Mr. Gandhi tweeted, “The Prime Minister should have remembered whenever ego hits the truth, it is defeated.”  No government in the world can stop the farmers fighting the battle for truth.  The Modi government has to accept the demands of the farmers and black laws will have to be withdrawn.  this is only the beginning.” He also raised Mr. Modi in the dock about the deteriorating economy of the country and said that the economy cannot grow in a dictatorial manner and Mr. Modi needs to keep this in mind. Mr. Gandhi said, “For the first time under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India’s economy has officially come into recession.  More importantly, three crore people are looking for employment under MNREGA.  The economy cannot be carried forward through dictatorship.  The Prime Minister first needs to understand this basic thing. “
