Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (10 February) responded to the vote of thanks by President Ram Nath Kovind’s address to the Lok Sabha. During his speech, PM Modi mentioned the agricultural laws, then Congress MPs started creating uproar. In such a situation, PM Modi started thundering in Parliament. He said that some laws are very important for a progressive society. Prime Minister Modi said that agricultural laws are not mandatory but optional. Laws are not imposed, but are made for public welfare. Child marriage prohibition laws and anti-dowry laws were not sought by anyone. They are designed for progressive society.PM Modi said that three agricultural laws were also introduced in this corona period. This series of agrarian reform is very necessary and important and we have to make constant efforts and we have made a sincere effort to bring out the agricultural sector which has been facing challenges for years.
