Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K Sangma said that the Prime Minister praised a farmers’ union of the state for its dedicated spirit. The Prime Minister interacted though video conference with the chief of the organic farmers’ union, Revistar Kharumnuid on Friday.
Mr. Sangma expressed through a twitter post that the Prime Minister was impressed by the dedicating spirit of the union.

He said,”The Company has 500 farmers under it, covering 16 villages in Ri Bhoi District. It focuses on farming of organic ginger & other organic intercrops & its products are sold in e-commerce platforms like India Mart”.
Under the Pradhan Mantrii Kisan Samaan Nidhi (PM-KISAN), the Prime Minister released the eighth installment of Rs. 20,000 crore to more than 9.5 crore farmer beneficiaries on Friday.
