“Perfect Setup for training”, for Team India at Ageas Bowl

WTC ( World Test Championship) final will be held at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton, starting on June 18

The Ageas Bowl will be hosting the WTC final between New Zealand and India. Both the teams will challenge each other  in the WTC, beginning June 18, in Southampton, while the women’s cricket team will begin the England tour with a one-off Test from June 16.

Team India posted a photo of the venue on Instagram, and it looks  like the venue hasn’t lost its charm even when the raging coronavirus pandemic. The post was captioned as ” Perfect setup for training”

UK government has now granted  exemption to  the WTC final as outlined in the Health Protection (Coronavirus, international travel and operator liability) (England) Regulations 2021, which was released on May 17.

“As per the bio- safety protocols established for the event, in line with UK government and Public Health England requirements, the Indian Men’s team will arrive in the UK on June 2021 via a charter flight and carrying evidence of a negative PCR test” ICC had said in an official release.

Currently the Indian cricket team players are in isolation , regular tests are being conducted during the isolation period.
