Different colors of seven colors, popular in Hinduism, have also been prepared for the seven days of the week for Ramlala, enshrined in the Ram temple of Ayodhya. All these dresses are from Khadi silk. On Vasant Panchami, Lord Ramlala was dressed in yellow clothes.
Prabhu Ram, Mata Sita, Bhaiya Laxman and devotee Hanuman were dressed in special dresses made from Khadi silk made by famous fashion designer Manish Tripathi on behalf of the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Additional Chief Secretary of Khadi and Village Industries Department, Dr. Navneet Sehgal informed that these garments of Ramlala have been prepared in collaboration with Khadi Village Industries Board.
Manish Tripathi, who designs dress for Bollywood artists, hails from Ambedkarnagar. Recently Ramchala’s head archchain Acharya Satyendradas got Ramlala to wear new clothes. After this, the aura and sparkle of Ramlala rose. These clothes manufactured from Khadi silk have been made by Manish diligently. Apart from this, he also offered other sets to Ramlala according to the colors of the days of the week.
A few days ago Manish attended the court of Ramlala to assess the size and shape of the garment. He informed that all the Angastras prepared are from Khadi silk. Manish says that when he went to see Ramlala in the past, he thought that Khadi clothes should be designed for Lord Ram. There are millions of temples in the country. If, like Ayodhya, Khadi garments start to be used at all the places there, then Khadi will get a boost.
