On Tuesday, Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that 96 nations had accepted reciprocal recognition of Covid-19 immunization certificates with India. According to Mandaviya, the government is continuing to communicate with the rest of the globe so that beneficiaries of the world’s largest Covid-19 vaccination campaign are accepted and recognized, simplifying travel for education, business, and tourism.
Mandaviya stated: “At present, 96 countries have agreed to mutual recognition of vaccination certificates and also those who recognize Indian vaccination certificates of travelers fully vaccinated with Covishield/WHO approved/nationally approved Covid vaccines.”
