Navneet Rana, MLA from Amravati Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra, has been threatened with death for speaking against Shiv Sena in Lok Sabha. The special thing is that this threat has been written on the letterhead of the ruling Shiv Sena. The MP has accused Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut about this and lodged an FIR at the North Avenue Police Station.The FIR being circulated on social media is dated 13 February 2021. In it, the MP said that against my speech on the President’s address on February 8, threatening to kill me and my husband for not apologizing in eight days, by using an anonymous letter on the letterhead of the Shiv Sena party, using insults and abuses. The MP in the FIR has said that we doubt that Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut and former Shiv Sena MP Anandrao Adasun have sent this letter. Such words are not good for democracy at all. The MP told me that threatening phone calls are also being made using vulgar words. It is a serious crime against any normal woman.
