Four young cricketers from Lucknow have earned their place in the Uttar Pradesh squad for the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy Elite. Shashi Balan, Arisha Mustafa, Priyanshi Yadav, and Chandni Sharma have been selected for the state team, which will open its campaign against Tamil Nadu at the Vadodara Cricket Academy Ground on Saturday.

Khaleeq Mukhtar Khan, secretary of the Cricket Association of Lucknow, congratulated the players and expressed confidence that their talent and dedication would eventually pave the way for opportunities at the national level.

Meanwhile, Lucknow is also set to host several Elite Group C matches, including fixtures such as Jammu and Kashmir vs Jharkhand, Chandigarh vs Himachal Pradesh, and Hyderabad vs Mumbai. These matches will take place at Ekana’s B Ground, Sports Galaxy Ground, and the GCRG Cricket Ground.
