Launches second dose of Corona Vaccine, first dose given to 8 million people so far

The first dose of vaccine has been given to 8 million people so far under the world’s largest corona vaccination campaign in India. Second dose of Second vaccine has been started from today. Today the vaccine is being given to those who were given the first dose on 16 January. Giving second dose of vaccine was also started at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP). By noon, more than 20 people had been given the second dose of vaccine there. This information has been given to PTI by a senior officer. Delhi government hospitals currently have only partial facilities for corona infection. But these hospitals played a very important role in the fight against Corona. The Union Health Ministry today said that since the inception of the nationwide mega vaccination drive, around 8 million people have been given the first dose of vaccine in 28 days so far. According to the ministry, more than 4 lakh people have been vaccinated in eight states.According to the Ministry of Health, currently 1,08,92,746 people in India are corona infected. In one day 12,143 new cases have been reported, whereas 103 people have died due to infection in the last twenty four hours. According to the information of the Ministry, there have been no deaths in the last twenty-four hours in 17 states and union territories.From today, the second dose of corona vaccination has been started to be given to the beneficiaries. According to doctors, it is also necessary to give a second dose at a difference of 28 days. A hospital spokesman said a senior doctor at the Center for Chest and Respiratory Illness today took a second dose of vaccine to prevent corona virus infection.
