Gujarat government has renamed the fruit known as Dragon Fruit in the whole world to Kamalam Fruit. The special thing is that this fruit looks exactly like a lotus flower. But social media users did not like to change the name of the fruit. Soon after the decision regarding Kamalam, there was a flood of mimes on Twitter, which can also make you laugh.
To change the name of Dragon Fruit, a social media users have shared a scene of the long released comedy film Welcome in which Nana Patekar is seen. Please tell that this fruit is very expensive. The price starts from Rs 75 per piece and goes up to Rs 300 per piece or more. Although some people sell it up to 400 rupees a kilogram.
While sharing a picture of Dragon on Twitter, a social media user has asked how do you train your Kamalam. Know here that Dragon Fruit is basically the fruit of Macisco, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador and the northern areas of South America. Now it is cultivated in many countries including India, Australia, China. This fruit is mostly grown in tropical and sub-tropical countries.
At the same time, a person has shared the picture while hugging the children from the dragon and wrote that after all how do you trend your dragon. Now if we talk about the cultivation of this fruit, only 1100 to 1350 plants are planted in one hectare field. For the first time, it takes about five years to fully bear fruit, so their price is high. Once the fruit comes, it is harvested two or three times a year according to the capacity of the season and the plant.
