India vs England: ‘This Isn’t Your Fu**ing Backyard,’ Virat Kohli and James Anderson said in War of Words

Even as India labored to survive on day four of the second Test match at Lord’s, India skipper Virat Kohli and England pacer James Anderson were sparring. Both cricketers are Alphas in their own right; Anderson was hammered with short bowling while batting yesterday, and now that he has the ball, he is in no mood to leave the Indians alone. Meanwhile, Kohli was in a good mood, as India had lost both of their openers, setting the scene for a Kohli spectacular. However, that opportunity was squandered when he was dismissed later.

“Are you swearing at me once more?”, Kohli said to Anderson, “this isn’t your fu**ing backyard”. Even as Anderson responded with a few words. After the fifth delivery, India captain Virat Kohli proceeded to mock Anderson, saying, “chirp chirp chirp. This is what becoming older does to you”.
