KL Rahul smashed another century as India ended Day 1 on a high in the second Test. He remained unbeaten on 127 which included as many as 12 fours and a six. Opener Rohit Sharma also struck a crucial 83 runs innings as he shared a century-run partnership with KL Rahul.
Virat Kohli joined the party after Pujara’s another failure. But the Indian captain again failed to score big and was dismissed for 42 by Ollie Robinson. Final half an hour of the day but that won’t stop KL Rahul from playing his strokes. Rocks back onto the backfoot and punches the ball past point for a boundary. With the kind of form he is in, this should be a daddy hundred for him.
