Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday lauded India’s role in the war against the global pandemic Covid-19. He said, India is playing a central role in global vaccination. Our goal for welfare is as much domestic as it is global. The world is taking health and wellness very seriously, especially after Covid. Modi said that, preventive health services have been widely worked on during the epidemic. The number of people receiving benefits under Ayushman Bharat, India’s flagship healthcare scheme, is much higher than the population in the US and many European countries. Prime Minister Modi said that this is the largest healthcare scheme in the world. The Prime Minister was addressing a function organized to mark 75 years of the Sri Ramchandra Mission. He said that the whole world saw an example of how to overcome small crises with great distress during the corona. We are also witness to how the vigilance of 130 crore Indians became an example in the Battle of Corona. In this, the things taught in our homes, habits and Yoga-Ayurveda have also played a very big role.He said, “The whole world was worried about India’s situation at the beginning of this epidemic. But today India’s fight with Corona is inspiring the world. ”Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today the world is very serious about health after the Kovid-19 epidemic and India has a lot to offer in this regard. Earlier, the Union Health Ministry informed in a press conference that so far 87 lakh 40 thousand 595 doses of vaccine have been given in the country. 85 lakh 69 thousand 917 people were given the first dose while one lakh 70 thousand 678 people were given the second dose.
