A longside the flagship Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, Honor also launched the Honor 20i in India. The Honor 20i is essentially the Honor 20 Lite, which means it is a stripped down version of the Honor 20. The Honor 20i is an affordable mid-range smartphone with a price tag of Rs 14,990. In a sense, the Honor 20i succeeds the Honor 10 Lite that was launched in India earlier this year.
Like the Honor 10 Lite, the Honor 20i touts an attractive design language and dependable hardware at an affordable price. The Honor 20i brings a similar teardrop notch display, curved glasstic back and Kirin 710 chipset as the Honor 10 Lite. On the sidelines of the Honor 20 series launch, I spent a brief amount of time with the Honor 20i and here are my initial thoughts.
Like the Honor 10 Lite, the Honor 20i is stunning to look at, especially considering the price. It is a sleek looking phone with its curved back and a thickness of 7.9mm. It also feels lightweight at around 164 grams. The phone feels premium in the hand and the 3D rear panel offers a nice grip. The glasstic panel offers a glossy finish that comes in three colours – Midnight Black and Phantom Red and Phantom Blue. The last two are gradient finishes, which look quite attractive.
